At the Super Zone meeting on February 6, 2010, Immediate Past Governor Tim Pate Sr. presented awards for his year. A few award winners are below:

Tim Pate Sr. presents Larry Rahmeier with the District Optimist of the Year Award for 2008-2009.

International Vice President Ed Finn presents Don Crall with a Special Fundraising Award from the Optimist Internatonal Foundation; Don raised over $2500 for the Foundation from attendees at a recent International training session. Atta boy, Don!

Emil Novak celebrates fifty years as an Optimist member by giving some advice to Oklaoma District Governor Don Crall. Yes, Emil has been an Optimist member since February 1960! Congratulations, Emil! Emil is also "Mr. Oratory" for his steady chairmanship of the District Oratorical Contest for as long as anyone can remember.
