THE OKLAHOMA DISTRICT OPTMIST SUPER ZONE MEETING RECAP!

Saturday, February 6, 2010 saw the first ever Super Zone meeting for the Oklahoma District.

Highlighting the day was some great training--Optimist International's Internet Safety program, Club Leader training on the important record-keeping and reporting to help clubs excel, and opportunities in the PGI program. See the general photo gallery here.

 

Also, Immediate Past Governor Tim Pate Sr. presented awards for his year. The list of awards will be posted later, but for now, photos of just a few are below:

Finn and CrallInternational Vice President Ed Finn presents Don Crall with a Special Fundraising Award from the Optimist Internatonal Foundation; Don raised over $2500 for the Foundation from attendees at a recent International training session. Atta boy, Don!

Emil and CrallEmil Novak celebrates fifty years as an Optimist member by giving some advice to Oklaoma District Governor Don Crall. Yes, Emil has been an Optimist member since February 1960! Congratulations, Emil! Emil is also "Mr. Oratory" for his steady chairmanship of the District Oratorical Contest for as long as anyone can remember.

 

 

First Quarter Conference ReCap:
